Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety and depression are often treated as problems to be managed or eliminated. I also want to understand what they may be communicating about your life.
We can explore the fears, conflicts, losses, relationships, and expectations that may be contributing to what you're experiencing.
For some people, anxiety is connected to a deep fear of disappointing others, losing control, or being truly seen. Depression may involve grief, anger turned inward, chronic disappointment, isolation, or a sense of having lost touch with what matters.
In our sessions, we pay attention not just to when anxiety or low mood show up, but to what precedes them and what they might be protecting you from.
Sometimes this means looking at longstanding patterns. Sometimes it means making sense of a more recent shift in your life that hasn't yet added up.
Understanding these experiences in context can create possibilities for change that go beyond simply learning to cope with symptoms.
The goal is greater freedom: a life less driven by fear or heaviness and more connected to what matters to you.

Ready to Talk?
If you've been carrying a sense that something deeper is going on beneath your anxiety, relationships, or self-doubt, you're not wrong—and you don't have to keep carrying it alone.
Reaching out can feel like a big step, especially if you're used to managing things on your own.
I'd welcome the chance to talk with you, hear a little about what's bringing you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and see whether we might be a good fit.
